Dr Chong Yeh Woei

Dr Chong Yeh Woei is a senior consultant physician in the Royal Healthcare Specialists Centre. With more than 20 years of experience in the private practice of internal medicine, he manages a wide spectrum of medical ailments.

He is compassionate; he listens and addresses the concerns of his patients and their family members. His smile is his trademark while his knowledge and compassion gives his patients confidence and assurance.

Dr Chong is the Chairman of the Singapore Medical Association Charity Fund.
He has been a SMA Council Member since 1998. He was the SMA President from 2009 to 2012. He is the Chairman of the MOH Medical Advisory Panel on Driving. He represents the SMA on the SMC CME Coordinating Committee. He is also the Chairman of the Confederation of Medical Associations of Asia and the Oceania (CMAAO) of which the SMA is a member.

He is also a member of the SMA-IDA Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (Indonesian Medical Association) Joint Committee (MOU on Publicity Guidelines and Code of Ethics on Hospital Promotion).

Dr Keefe Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2013 and earned his Specialist Accreditation in Advanced Internal Medicine in 2022.

His clinical expertise lies in comprehensive health screening, chronic disease management, and wellness optimisation — with a particular emphasis on prevention and early detection through state-of-the-art diagnostics, including AI-powered CT and MRI imaging.

A passionate medical educator, Dr Tan serves as a Clinical Lecturer and Core Tutor with both the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. His contributions to teaching have been recognised with multiple awards, including the NUS Junior Doctor Teaching Award and the NHG MVP Award.

A former national athlete and SEA Games bronze medallist, Dr Tan has a deep personal interest in Sports Medicine, nutrition, and performance optimisation. His clinical interests extend to the management of metabolic syndrome and lifestyle-related chronic diseases — with a vision of integrating these areas into mainstream Internal Medicine practice.

Beyond medicine, Dr Tan is an avid wine enthusiast and holds a WSET Level 3 certification in Wines. He was the co-founder of a local boutique wine bar and has a particular appreciation for fine Zinfandels and full bodied whites and reds.
